Designer's Showcase

Meet the Artist ... Wes Jones

Wes took his first woodturning lesson from Willard Baxter, and then spent several weeks at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina. He also joined the AAW and three other woodturning clubs in the Atlanta area. He concentrates on one-of-a-kind art pieces, never making the same design twice. He likes to employ many types of surface decoration to enhance and personalize his bowls, hollowforms, and vases. Wes would welcome your questions and comments. He can be reached at wwjones@comcast.net. More of his work can be viewed on the website www.gawoodturner.org/imagegallery/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=54.
