Meet the Artist ... Mark Kauder
Mark notes that he fell in love with segmented turning because it provided lots of options—no two bowls are the same. He can decide what shape and size of bowl he wants to turn and then build it. This differs from “solid wood” turning during which the turner must try to find the best shape for a given piece of wood.
