Designer's Showcase Meet the Artist ... Larry Lew Larry Lew is a retired civil engineer who has been working with wood for most of his life. Part of that work, especially making custom banjos, included carving and inlay work. Turning for about six years, he experimented with decorating his turned pieces. This applique decoration using wood combines segmented turning, carving, and some pyrography. Larry welcomes your comments and may be reached at llew2@sbcglobal.net. |
