Meet the Artist ... Joe Smith

Joe has taught school for 24 years and currently teaches 7th grade Science. He made custom furniture for 10 years before becoming involved, two years ago, with turning. Joe specializes in closed forms, bowls and platters that include hand-carved decorations. He would like to begin experimenting with color in his turnings and especially likes the work of Andi Wolfe.
