Meet the Artist ... Jim Vogel
Jim has been active in Tidewater Turners since 2001. As a teacher and a mentor, he has been helping fellow turners with their turnings. Jim has taught many classes for Woodcraft in Norfolk, Virginia, as well as one in Merriville, Indiana. He also mentors several turners, encouraging them to push the envelope. Jim’s turning specialties include bentwood vessels, suspended vessels, eggshell carving on wood, carving, texturing, airbrushing, and piercing. –
