Meet the Artist ... G. Wesley Henry
Wes Henry spent his working years as a draftsman for the Texas Department of Transportation. After retirement, he spent a few years woodcarving, but after attending a woodturning symposium, he was hooked. Wes notes that he is not a professional woodturner, but he spends a lot of time in the shop creating his pieces. Although he will occasionally do a piece on commission, most of his work ends up in his own collection or is given as gifts to friends and family.
