Designer's Showcase

Meet the Artist ... Dennis Fuge

Dennis started his woodturning in South Africa in 1966, where, as part of his eighth-grade woodworking project, he was required to turn a lamp stand. Growing up in South Africa had a big impact on the work that Dennis does, and his early influences were from commonwealth turners, such as Bert Marsh, Dave Regester, and Dennis White. His move to the United States in 1998 was a major boost to his turning, as he was able to join the New Jersey Woodturners Association, where he became president for a number of years. He welcomes your questions and comments, and can be reached by e-mail at woodturn@optonline.net. website: www.timeforyou.net
