Nova DVR XP Question?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know the year Technatool started producing the DVR XP lathe? I have a chance to purchase a used one at my local Woodcraft store at a reasonable price. Thing is, the salesman said it was 2 years old and only used as a demo lathe, not for student classes... hummm?

Anyway, I was thinking the new computerized XP model was only about 1 year old and came out sometime 2006 but I could be wrong as I'm not up on the DVR XP lathes. Appreciate any help regarding this particular lathe.

The dvr has been around for a few years, it was recently upgraded to the xp, I think you have the time line right.
