Pattern Transfer

I would like to transfer some computer generated artwork patterns to my turned objects. Since the surfaces are curved and the artwork is flat, I need a medium that can go through my printer and has some S-T-R-E-T-C-H to it. I can tolerate some distortion. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I might go about this. Thanks. Steve
