Sharping lathe tools

Postby buddy self » Thu Aug 19, 2010 6:30 am

Hello everyone I'm a new turner and new to you magazine and start turning wood to get the feel for it.
My question is I bought a Delta varible speed grinder but not sure what speed to use to sharpen the lathe tools.
What color of stones to use and what grit. I have also bought the Woverine sharping system.
I would like any other advise that would help a beginner.
Thank You
Buddy

If you bought your Wolverine system from a Woodcraft dealer......they have sharpening classes.
