On the Cover:The boxes on the cover were made by George Watkins from a new material that is fast becoming popular. It is a polyurethane resin/burl wood combination that is being used primarily by penmakers and folks who make boxes. However, various examples of hollow forms and other larger pieces are showing up on the different forums by turners who cast their own materials.
